A seamless mate to the original pipe is ensured by a fiberglass mesh on the outside of PipePatch products, which has the additional benefit of improving the strength of the old, damaged pipe.
PipePatch uses the Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) process to facilitate no-dig pipe repair by creating a pipe within a pipe which only minimally changes the original pipe diameter. With CIPP, PipePatch both fixes the problem and improves performance of the system. You will also only need to repair the specific area that requires fixing, saving money over installing a new pipe system. Because PipePatch creates a pipe within a pipe with durable fiberglass, PipePatch acts as a structural barrier between the pipe interior and external conditions.
PipePatch exceeds CIPP Specification ASTM F1216. This specification requires a 50-year minimum service life on all materials, ensuring that your PipePatch repair is long-lasting and durable. PipePatch products additionally meet ICC-ES-PMG specifications and NSF standards.
